Gaststatte Heimatruh in Senftenberg

Discovered spontaneously in mid-September during a short vacation. Rustic, home-style atmosphere, very friendly service and the price-performance ratio was great. During our little lunch break we even got into conversation with the landlord and another couple. This is how gastronomy has to be. It's a shame that we live so far away from Senftenberg to come here again spontaneously.

We were so satisfied that we went to eat again the next day. Very tasty, very fair prices and really very nice staff. Great, we will definitely be back.

Friendly but very confused staff. I ordered a table especially, but was then placed at a table in the outdoor area with other guests, who also seemed a bit confused. It was only possible to order over an hour later because no one came to take our order. Unfortunately, the kitchen cooks with canned mushrooms and probably other canned foods. Not particularly tasty.

Super friendly condition. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. A garden restaurant with star character. We recommend.

I can only say positive things about this restaurant. A great meal, just like mother's. Fills you up, tastes great! The price is fair and the service is courteous. We would definitely like to come back. Until then, and best regards!

Dear team of the restaurant "Heimatruh", On recommendation we booked from the Allgäu for my wife's birthday party. The food was really well prepared and presented. Best German food I've had in such a long time. Tasted very home made with loads of love. Tip: Google maps sends you the wrong way. Better off following the signs!

Not easy to find, but it's worth looking for! Traditional cuisine that tastes really good. A very friendly service, advised us of longer waiting times, but then it wasn't. It can be different. We were so excited that we reserved again for the next day!

5 Stars ! The food was just delicious! As if cooked by grandma! Absolutely friendly reception and great service. The food was fresh, hot and even the small special requests were not a problem at all and were fulfilled. We felt very comfortable and went home delicious and full! So, also for all vacationers who don't want to miss out on traditional East German cuisine GOT TO!

A cozy restaurant, somewhat hidden in a garden colony. We immediately felt comfortable! The food was excellent, despite the small - due to the COVID-19- menu there should be something for everyone. The prices are more than decent! And the "Willi" at the end was a pleasure! We would love to come back !!!

aren yesterday at your supper dinner with the family and were very satisfied. It was delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't fully enjoy because of a headache. But what I ate was very good. Kudos to the cook. It also came quickly, a maximum of 20-30 minutes. Getting there was difficult at the beginning, but easy in the end. Thank you, will definitely come again.

Ascension Day 2020. We were served in spite of the late hour. There was a lot going on and one or the other has surely moved away sour due to the long waiting time. We had time and could calmly wait for our meal with a round of billiards. We were also able to overlook small confusions, it still tasted good and the portions were big enough. The waitresses and cooks had to cope with a huge rush after the Corona closure and were still friendly.

A very cozy garden restaurant with friendly and patent service. It offers German cuisine, at moderate prices. The food is fresh, made especially from fresh ingredients and tastes very good. We recommend.

Here the food tastes very good and the staff is very friendly. We ate wonderful outdoors. A large parking lot is also available. Highly recommended.

Restaurant is located in a garden area - you should not be put off. The innkeeper has been very nice and attentive. The food was delicious and the portion size was great. Price / performance are right here! The only improvement: inside there was an event at the same time, so that some guests had to wait longer for their food. Simply communicate in advance and / or offer something. A schnapps at the end would have crowned the visit. ;-)
